He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; and his parents, Lauretta Schutte (Bissmeyer) and Robert Schutte. He is survived by: his children, Karen Lesiecki (Richard), Kathy Burkhart (Scott), Mike Schutte (Jennifer) and Terri Sunderman (Joe); his great grandchild James; and his siblings, Ed Schutte (late Mary Jean), Carolyn Dick (Steve), Joanne Kaufman (Dick) and Rick Schutte (Barb).

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
