She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brossart and Eleanor Brossart; her husband Laurence T. "Larry" George; and her siblings, Mary Carey, Norm Brossart, Joan Croucher, Don Brossart and Ruth Irwin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Haralamos (Dean) and Julie Onnen (John); her grandchildren, Katelyn Haralamos, Rachel Bernard, Tiana and Isaac Onnen; and her great grandchildren, Mari and Soli Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends.

“I have many fond memories of Janet....one in particular I will never forget. Many years ago when I was 16 I was walking home from the high school down Benson Hill in the dark. There was dense woods along the side of the road. I was scared. I didn't have a car nor a drivers license yet. Janet pulled over in her car and offered to give me a ride home so I would be safe. I was so grateful. I'll always remember that. My sympathy to all the family. Rest in peace Janet. 🙏 Karol Keim”
