She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Schmidt; her daughters, Sara Schmidt, Lisa Sargent (Andrew) and Pam Palmarini (Jim); her grandchildren, Chelsea Coffey, Chris Sargent (Vasuma), Emily Sargent, Lucia Palmarini (Jushe), Nina Palmarini and Josie Palmarini; and her siblings, Clifford Hodapp Jr. (Diana), Mary Louise Loase (late Ray) and James Hodapp (Janice). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She had a warm smile for everyone, and never met a stranger.In lieu of flowers, Jeanne's family has asked for donations to be sent to the Ursulines of Brown County, 20860 S.R. 251, St. Martin, OH 45118.
