He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell J. Shelton and Betty Shelton; and his brother Steve Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Sondra; his sons, Todd Shelton (Cindy) and Jay Shelton (Tracy); his grandchildren, J. T. Shelton, Jessica Shelton, Rory Shelton and Cameron Shelton; his great grandchildren, Penelope Shelton and William Shelton; and his sisters, Lynda Summers (Herb) and Karen Kohler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be made to St. Judes; Shriners; or Wounded Warriors.
