He was predeceased by: his brother James (Jana Hicks); and his parents, James Hicks and Lavina Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Josephine R. Hicks; his sons, Jerome (Kathy) of Cincinnati, Joshua (Niki Iacobucci) of Cincinnati, Joseph (Sheila) of Cincinnati, Jacob (Sarah) of Cincinnati and Justin Hicks (Katrina) of Cincinnati; and his brothers, Herbert Hicks of Zanesville, OH and Raymond Hicks (Joyce Maco) of Goshen, OH.
Jerry's family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holy Family Food Pantry (https://holyfamilycincinnati.org), c/o Holy Family Church or to Immanuel United Church of Christ.
