He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia T. Nymberg; and his siblings, Donna Jane Zane (Richard) and Donald Nymberg (Mary Kay). He is survived by: his family Jerry; his children, Dr. Jerome Nymberg III (Jane), Timothy Nymberg (Patricia), Daniel Nymberg (Diane), Dr. Thomas Nymberg, Susan Crone (Kerry) and Michael Nymberg (late Michelle); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Nymberg (Zachary Popovec), Stephen, Douglas (Chloe), Jeffrey (Adrienne), Gregory (Casey Frazier), Daniel, David (Allison), Kathleen Rogers (Seth), Paul, Jonathan, Caroline, Yodeet, Kaleb, William, Thomas, James (Krystal), Kevin (Samantha) and Kelly (Nicholas Boeckermann); and his great grandchildren, Brooks, Charlie, Avery, Theodore, Joseph, Maria, Peter, Lily, Elijah, Jackson, Cayden and Ashtin.
