He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell A. and Mary E. Eppstein; his brother Thomas; and his sister-in-law Louise Wesdorp. He is survived by: his wife Mary Theresa Eppstein; his children, John (Kristan), Tim (Mary), Rachel Bruening (Daniel) and Laura Shelley (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Molly, Liza Eppstein and Emelia Bruening.
