He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cataline and Josephine Cataline; his son John Cataline Jr.; his former wife Joan Cataline; his grandchildren, John Cataline and Shannon Farmer; and his sister Angela Orth.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Cataline; his children, Margaret Merrill (Peter), Julie Rogers (Doug), Joyce Cataline and Kelly Cataline-George (Mike); and his stepchildren, Chad Flaig (Jenny), Marcia Flaig and Brad Flaig (Julie). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Parkinson Foundation.
