He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Dickhaus and Marie Dickhaus; his wife Janet M. Dickhaus; his sons, Tim Dickhaus (Robin) and Joseph Dickhaus; and his siblings, Bill Dickhaus, Ruth Arand, Rosemary Ficker, Bob Dickhaus and Rita Miller.
He is survived by: his children, John Dickhaus (Rhonda), Mike Dickhaus (Jeanette), Greg Dickhaus (Norma Jean), Denise Dickhaus (Rose Zix) and Martin Dickhaus (Ellen); and his grandchildren, John III, Erika (Scott), Josh (Jess), Amanda, Mikie, Matt (Megan), Marc, Chelsea (Eddie), Timothy, Rachel, Christy (JC), Greg II, Eric (Carrie), Sarah and Kellen.
