It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Schmidt (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John E. Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his significant other Susan Cobourn Schmidt; and his sons, Neil C. Schmidt (Lisa) and John C. Schmidt. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
