He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Romer and Justine Romer; his wife Virginia "Jinny" Sander; his children, Brian Donovan (Janet), Chris Donovan (Carolyn Shannon) and Emily Reardon (Matt); his grandchildren, Ruby, Emmett Donovan, Claire, Scott Donovan, Kara and Pete Reardon; his siblings, Mary FitzGerald (Ed), Chip (Sallie), Susan Morelli (Arthur), Chris (Deema), Andy and Bill (Yuriko); and also Mary Beth Sander. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews.
