With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Goodyear (Cincinnati, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Goodyear (Mary E. Goodyear) and Mary Goodyear. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Goodyear; his children, Kristen "Kristi" Kenney (Mike), Richard Goodyear (Carol), Kimberly and Brian Wissman; his brother Charles "Chuck" Goodyear (Merrietta); and his grandchildren, Allison Vanneman (David), Emily, Michael Kenney, Meagan Cyrus, Katie Goodyear, Luke and Greg Wissman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Salvation Army or St. Jude Hospital for Children, both causes close to John's heart. Memorials may be made the day of funeral with funeral home representative or directly with charities online.
