He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Helmes and Viola Helmes; and his siblings, Ronald, Larry and Jeanne Doll.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Jeff (Patty), Ted (Barb), Peggy (Scott) and Christine (Gary); his grandchildren, Eric (Mel), Becky (Michael), Russell (Kristin), Morgan, Garrett (Bre), Rachael (Shelby) and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Paxton, Rory, Caroline and Rosalind; and his brothers, Nick (Veronica) and Greg (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Church (5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
