He was predeceased by: his wife Cathleen; and his siblings, Wanda Hassert and Steve Holt. He is survived by: his children, Holly Schick, Eric Holt (Angela), Perry Holt (Melanie) and Andrew Holt (Sarah); his grandchildren, Katie, Carson, Lauren Holt, Joe Schick, William, Frances, Gus Holt, Faith and Hunter Holt; and his sisters, Loretta Bracken (Charles) and Leah Hungerford (Paul).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gilligan Funeral Homes (8225 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236-2225). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236).
