John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. Edward Marcheschi (Peggy); and his close friend Dr. Michael Sifri. He is survived by: his brother Dr. David Marcheschi (Ginga); his children, Alex Marcheschi (Zenzi), Jack Marcheschi, Nick Marcheschi (Gabrielle) and Mimi Cook (Charles); and the mother of his children Lucy Marcheschi.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home (4619 Delhi Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dominic Church (4551 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elder High School's Endowment Fund, the Wounded Warriors Project or Pregnancy Center West.
