He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ackerman and Angela Ackerman; his wife Joan Ackerman; and his sisters, Mary Angela Samow (David) and Martha Swallow (Larry).
He is survived by: his significant other Debbie Watson; his sons, Michael (Katie), Peter (Jenny), Matthew and Andrew (Jamie); his grandchildren, Henry, Mabel, Noel, Adam, Jonah, Sawyer and Wren; and his sisters, Barbara Lange Kallmeyer (Larry) and Jane Hoffman (late Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
