He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mente and Dorothy Mente (Ouimette); his wife Pamela Conner; his brother Jeffery; his aunts and uncles, Bernard, Paul, Raymond Mente, LeRoy, Dick Ouimette, Mary Provencher and Louise Mente; and his stepson Phillip Willis.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Danny Willis, Kenneth Willis and Shaunna Willis; and his sisters, Marie Blanton (Jim) and Cindy Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the American Martyrs Catholic Church (908 W Sagola Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
