It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roy Nimeskern of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Nimeskern and Agnus Nimeskern; and his siblings, Aelred Nimeskern, Urban Nimeskern, Bernard Nimeskern and Mary Grace Whitehouse.
He is survived by: his wife Irene R. Nimeskern; his children, Deborah Gandenberger (Bob), John Nimeskern (Theresa), Arthur Nimeskern (Janice) and Raymond Nimeskern (Valerie); his grandchildren, Carrie Randall (Brian), Robert Gandenberger (Melissa), Nicholas Nimeskern (Andrea), Zachary Nimeskern (Sarah), James Gandenberger, Joshua Nimeskern (Elizabeth), Benjamin Nimeskern, Natalie Ueker (Timothy) and Heather LaFleur (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Brody, Karlee, Beckman, Reed, Molly, Pennie, Hailey, Thomas, Samuel, Charles, Landon and Peyton.
In lieu of flowers, John's family kindly requests memorial donations be made in his honor to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), 860 Dolwick Dr., Erlanger, KY 41018, celebrating John's service and unwavering love for his country.
