He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Specht and Henry Specht; and his great-grandparent John. He is survived by: his siblings, Henrietta Stenger (Ed), Pat Helmers (Paul), Norma Telscher (Jim), Fred Specht (Janice) and Dave Specht (Pat); his children, Cindy Larkin, John Specht (Heather) and Christine Fricke (Eric); and his grandchildren, John, Jeffrey, Jessica, Allison, Russell, Marissa, Sean, Jocelyn, Sarah, Adeline, Dorothy and Rachel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers, an organization John felt strongly about.
