With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John S. O'Connell (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. O'Connell and Mertie May O'Connell. He is survived by: his brother Jim; his children, John Jr. (Lori), Tim (Jackie) and Laura (Larry); his grandchildren, Nick Berndsen (Taylor Tate), Cassandra O'Connell, Lacey O'Connell, Jack O'Connell and Brennan O'Connell; and his great grandchild Callie Berndsen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund.
