He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindy Haustetter; his brother Luther Smith; and his parents, Alma Smith and John B Smith. He is survived by: his wife Esther Smith; his children, John Smith Jr. (Rob), Debbie Speeg, James Haustetter (Kathy) and Jerry Haustetter (Kelly); and his siblings, Jerry Smith and Nancy Inabnitt (Ken). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
