Though Johnnie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her mother Remell Victoria Moore; her husband Frederick Huston; and her daughter Monique Huston. She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Moore (New Jersey), Lucious Moore of Tallahassee, FL, Francine Reeves (South Carolina) and Priscilla Thornton of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church-Glendale (40 Coral Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45246). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246).
