He was predeceased by: his father Tom Callahan. He is survived by: his significant other Michael Settembrini; his mother Virginia Callahan; his sister Renee Callahan; his sister-in-law Janelle; and his nephew Leo.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Joey made a career change to the Kroger Company.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum in Joey Callahan's honor.
