He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Jacobs and Betty Jacobs; and his siblings, Lois Pasquerella, Bob Jacobs and Frank Jacobs.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Mary (Dorgan); and his children, Beth Mock (Jim) of Cincinnati, Maureen Maier (John) of Wenham, MA and Joe Jacobs (Nisi Staley) of Newport. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, another great grandchild on the way, a nephew, and a niece.
