He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Green and Tillie Green (Silverberg). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Green (Gross); his siblings, Joan Lebman (Nate) and Stan Green (Sue); his sons, Brad Green (Dianne) and Craig Green (CarolAnn); and his grandchildren, Cierra Green, Mallory Green and Sebastian Green.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Kidney Fund or the American Heart Association in memory of Joe.
