He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Lawson and Catherine Lawson; and his brother Richard Lawson. He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Lawson (Jackie), Judy Lawson, Bob Lawson (Sandra), Patricia Hoisington (late Steve), John Lawson (Mary) and Terry Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
