It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Sligar Jr. in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 19, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. and Anita; and his sisters, Doris and Dora Sligar. He is survived by: his wife Robin Bailey Sligar of Fort Wayne, IN; his children, Jasmin Sligar of Gratis, OH and Joey Sligar of Fort Wayne, IN.; and his granddaughter Roselyn Middaugh.
