Joyce leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Joyce’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joyce will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson; her husband Bobby Lee Thompson; and her siblings, Velma Lee Brown, Eulala Silvers, Nelly DeBord and Wilburn Thompson.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Don Thompson; and her caregiver Aide. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Marvin Owens Funeral Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Of Christ Cemetery.
