She is survived by: her husband Howard Lee Thomas; her children, Sharon Claxton and Eric Christopher Thomas; her siblings, Arlene Griffith, Grace Sears, Gerthia Carr, Cledia Faulkner, Howard Griffith, Woodrow Griffith, John Griffith and Junior Griffith; her grandchildren, Malinda Kennedy (Mark) of Trenton, Shane Claxton (Chrissy) of Trenton and Eric Thomas of Hendersonville; and her son-in-law Art Claxton of Seven Mile.
