Julie A. Schmitz Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 1, 2021, at the age of 59, Julie A. Schmitz (Cincinnati, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Jon Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Steve Schmitz; her son Alex Schmitz (Rachel); her grandchildren, Eli and Zoe Schmitz; and her siblings, Shawn O'Brien (Amy), Debbie Van Gils (Jos), Barb O'Brien (Chris Udry), Phil O'Brien (Mary), Patti Hafner (Tim) and Peggy Behm (Paul). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263 or think of Julie and do something special for a friend or stranger, visit the Cincinnati Zoo, a museum or park, buy and fill a bird feeder, take a friend and bet the ponies at the race track or hike your favorite trail.
