She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Schottner and Ruth Schottner (Hix). She is survived by: her sons, Jason Brown, Kevin Brown and Dennis Brown (Danielle); the father of her children Richard "Cardo" Brown; her daughter Melanie Adkins; her grandchildren, Mason Brown, Madison Brown, Murdock Brown, Abraham Brown, Rylee Sears, Addy Sears, Eryn Sears and Maisey Sears; her siblings, Mary Bell, Ginny Galinari and Johnny Schottner; and her pet Munchkin. She is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Kathy's honor may be made to any animal welfare charity.
