She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John and Luetta Brewster; her siblings, Annie B and Deacon Jake V. Harris, Sr.; and her husband Norman L. Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Norman Jr. (Eleanor) of Chicago, IL, Deborah Jett (Terrence Sr.), Kelvin Sr. (Ezaslee), Michael (Constance), Steven (Gina), Carolyn (Michael), Anthony (Michelle), Gerry (Dorothy) of San Antonio, TX, Gregory (Samirah) of Houston, TX and Eliza; her grandchildren, Lashawn (Lawrence), Terrence Jr. (Carmen), Rachael (Brandon), Kelvin Jr., Tiffany, Najee, Kyle, Jaleel, Phoenix, Asia, Calah, Cynthia, Lauren and Phillip Jr.; her great grandchildren, Lawrence Jr. (Paris), Symone, Skyler, Maliah, Brooklyn, Reed, Royce, Cameron, Carter, Candice, Myshawn, Tierra, Thomas II, Regina, Kamille, Phillip III, Luv'e and Brittany (Michael Sr.); her great great grandchildren, London, Phoenix, Darrius, Princeton, Thomas III, Michael, Matthew, Maxwell, Meredith and Mickey; and her cousins, Edward Sr., Johnny Larkin, Martha Harris of Moreno Valley, CA and Jimmy Lindsey of Los Angeles, CA.
