She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Shoup and Frances "Ann" Shoup (Fleck). She is survived by: her husband Bob Hampel; her sons, Adam Hampel (Emily) and Aaron Hampel (Laura); her stepchildren, Joseph Hampel and Debbie Sparkes; and her siblings, Jay Shoup (Joan) of Marion and Judy Lybarger (John). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
