He is survived by: his children, Kenny Paul Gaskins, Dean Allen Gaskins, Melissa Lynn Venezia, Christopher K. Gaskins, Karethae Gay Ross, Bruce Allen Goodman and Venice Goodman. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
