He is survived by: his wife Cindy Schmidt; his son Michael Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Mariko; his granddaughters, Alison Schmidt and Kristen O'Connor; his stepchildren, Toye, Chris Cavanaugh, Carrie and Joseph Mirshak; and his grandchildren, Holland, Lowry Cavanaugh, Cormac and Graham Mirshak.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests expressions of sympathy in Ken's name be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
