He is survived by: his parents, Bill Brichler and Pat Brichler; his sisters, Cindy Pater (Brichler) and Kim VanVliet (Brichler); his brothers-in-law, Frank Pater and Jeff Vanvliet; his nephews, Jared VanVliet and Trevor VanVliet; his significant other Jennifer Stitzel; Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to ProMedica Hospice, Cancer Family Care, American Cancer Society or the Animal Friends Humane Society.
