She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcia Helmholz and Bob Helmholz. She is survived by: her husband William B. Strubbe of Huntington's Disease; her children, Eve McGregor Brown, Hilary Helmholz Brown and John Robert Strubbe (Clark Edwards); and her siblings, Libby Helmholz Jones (Michael) and Rob Helmholz (Carla).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Main Chapel (2620 Erie Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45208). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church (1345 Grace Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45208). A reception was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
