He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Margaret; his brother Michael; his parents-in-law, Camillus and Bertha; and his brother-in-law Dan (Karen).

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Amy, Tad (Deborah), Leah and Carrie (Christian); his grandchildren, Chase, Tate, Ceci, Carly and Courtney; his sisters, Mary and Suzanne (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Tom (Joan) and Larry (Kay).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio, the Alzheimer's Association, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
