She was predeceased by: her son Jeffery; her parents, Sandford McCrory and Daisy McCrory; and her siblings, James, Ruby, Mary, Margret, Virginia, Joan (Joanne), Eugene, Alice and Larry.

She is survived by: her husband J. C. Dunn; her daughters, Felicia Miller, Dawn Marie Norman (Maurice) of Detroit, Jonetta Crews (Dwight), Amy Dunn, Shaunna Dunn, Renee L. Blackwell (Rahshann), Lachanda Dunn, Andrea Holloway (Todd), Alodie Dunn, Jennifer Dunn and Germaine Dunn of Columbus; her grandchild Demetra Alexander of Cincinnati, Ohio; her sons, James Dunn (Inger) of Nashville, Jonathan Dunn (Tara) of Cincinnati, Corey Dunn (Sabbath) of Lima, Lawrence Dunn of Cincinnati and Johnny Dunn of Cincinnati, Ohio.; and her brother Henry McCrory (Demetrius) of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, beloved saints and dear friends.

As well as the City of Cincinnati and the Foster Families of Cincinnati proclaiming DUNN DAY as they celebrated and recognized J.C. and Louise Dunn for their contributions to the foster care community.
