With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lanard Courtney Myrick (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lanard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lanard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Butts and Sandra Marie Dula; his stepfather Curtis Myrick; his siblings, Aretha Myrick and Catherine Myrick; and his brother-in-law Samuel J. Dula, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Marcus Myrick, Courtney Myrick and Tabitha Myrick; his sister Boobaraca Ray; his aunt Denise Harkness (Albert); and his niece Ramia Ray.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes- Northwest (7830 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45231). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
