We announce the death of Laverne Krismer of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Laverne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James J. Krismer; her daughters, Kathleen Krismer Wood, Mary Ellen Krismer, Theresa Hammerle (Fred), Ann Reichert (Eric) and Martha Schneider (Steven); her grandchildren, Eric Wood, Krista Rohan (J. Patrick), Dana Hammerle (Ryan Ziels), Nicholas Reichert, Rebecca Reichert, Justin Schneider, Benjamin Schneider, Jessica Schneider (Billy Stath) and Brian Schneider; her great grandchildren, Alexis and Shelby Rohan; and her brother Dr. David Armbruster.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (2553 Banning Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Church (5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247).
