He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Mae "Sally" Averbeck; and his parents, Lawrence H. Averbeck and Loretta Averbeck. He is survived by: his children, Marianne Bosch (John), Laureen Ruberg (Don), Lawrence V. Averbeck (late Greg Hastings), Lisa Stull (Jim), James Averbeck (late Ed Porter) and Robert Averbeck (Beth Reed). He is also survived by father and grandfather, leaving behind 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with a host of extended family.
