He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Klapper and Mildred Klapper; his wife Charlene Klapper; his daughter Marilyn Klapper; and his brothers, Ed Klapper and Ken Klapper.
He is survived by: his sons, David Klapper (Linda) and Roger Klapper (Brenda); his sister Lois Klapper (Walker); and his close friend Doreen Rae. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
