She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Beneking and Clarice Beneking; her husband William Smith, Sr.; and her grandson Derek. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Miller (Michael), William Smith, Jr., Elizabeth Smith, Ralph Smith, Robert Smith and Kathryn F Sanders; her grandchildren, Sarah, Donald, Michael, Megan, Seth, Hali, Kaylee and Livvie; and her great grandchildren, Madison, William, Dillon, Olivia and Maverick.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249).

Lois spent 32 years as a nurse's aid, mostly in the Alzheimer's Unit at Maple Knoll.
