She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schneider and Gertrude Schneider (Goetz); her husband William R. "Bill" Heckmann; and her in-laws, George and Estelle Heckmann (Hopper).
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy (Cindy Heckmann), Theodore (Cathy Heckmann) and Thomas (Linda Heckmann); her sister Rosalind Chesonis (Schneider); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Heckmann (Katie), Tracy Beck (Jason), Amy Graves (Seth), Jillian Pipkorn (Derek), Michael Heckmann (Greta) and Megan Wilson (John).
