She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Whitton and Bertha Mae Whitton. She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Beth) and Steve Downing (Barb); her grandchildren, Garrett (Christy), Chris, Matt and Dan Downing (Kelsey); her husband Gene Downing; and her siblings, Thelma, Bertha May, Anna Lee, Vernon Jr. and John. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
