She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Mitchell and Loraine M. Mitchell; and her siblings, Charles H. Mitchell Jr., Patricia Horton, Robert Mitchell and Walter Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Johnson Jr. (Jennie), Stephanie Johnson, Amanda Ramirez (Alfred) and Paul Welker Jr.; and her grandchildren, Hanna Vaughn, Keisha Johnson, James Ramirez, Jacob Ramiez, Jeremiah Ramirez and Josiah Ramirez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many other friends.
