She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Goodfriend; her parents, John Schenkel and Alberta Schenkel; her brothers, Jack Schenkel (Sylvia) and Robert; and her great-grandparents, Declan (Finley), Cillian, Burke, Josie (Oliver), Mabel (Keegan), Avery (Owen), Elizabeth (Charlie), Ellie (Lane) and Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Goodfriend (Marty), Deb Scott (Ron), Diane Reinshagen (Doug) and David Goodfriend (Lori); and her grandchildren, Amy Carr (Colm), Christie Wallace (Logan), Danielle Johnson (Sam), Holly Dennis (Chad), Jamie Fuller (Brian), Andy Goodfriend (Molly), Leslie, Alexis, Kylie and Harvey.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Marilyn's memory go to Tunnels to Towers.
