She was predeceased by: her brother Douglas; her husband John; her son Stephen; and her parents, Albert Kaasch and Ada Kaasch (Sigler).
She is survived by: her close friend Tibby; her children, Edward (Pam), William and Shannon (Maxim); her daughters-in-law, Cathy and Kim; her sister-in-law Tranquil (John); her grandchildren, Chris (Brin), Kelley (Kyle), Katie, Megan, Bonnie and Joshua (Breanna); her stepgranddaughter Marissa; her great grandchildren, Luke, Blake, Aurora, Luna and Korra; and her friends, John Huffer, Steaphen and Sue Fick. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Marilyn would have loved donations made in her memory to the Sulphur Creek Nature Center, 1801 D Street, Hayward, CA 94541, where she was a supporter and volunteer.
