He is survived by: his daughter Claire Gallant (Kurt); his granddaughters, Corinne and Julia Gallant; his mother Annell Liegel; his siblings, Lisa Kauffeld (Greg) and Bradford Liegel (DeeAnn); and his siblings' children, Natalie Barker (Brenden), Tasha Liegel, Bryan Kauffeld (Katie), Nick Kauffeld (Erika) and Cole Liegel (Michelle).

“Mark shone a bright light of success with his colleagues, customers, and friends at IBM. He had incredible work ethic and worked long hours. I can still hear his laugh and his voice! I was on a sales team with him for a number of years and he he was a true gentleman with a heart of gold. Heaven gained a great one and he is gone too soon. He will be remembered and my sympathy and prayers to his family and Claire. She was the light of his eye!”
